Ethical Guidelines
CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD (CRC)
FFA Global is applying the CRC in all its activities. Each participant in our programs is always treated with tolerance, understanding and respect for individual values. The guiding principles of the Convention include non-discrimination; adherence to the best interests of the child; the right to life, survival and development; and the right to participate. They represent the underlying requirements for any and all rights to be realized.
IN SAFE HANDS
In Safe Hands is an ethical guideline for work with children and youth, developed by the Salvation Army in Sweden. The long-term strategy of In Safe Hands ensures that our organisation can recognise and prevent situations where abuse of children and youthsmay occur. The method is to create awareness, reduce risks and take actions together to protect children and youth from all kinds of abuse and harassment (both physical and mental). We seek to implement the guidelines in our work within other relevant national child safety legislation in order to provide a care and protection framework for FFA Global.
